The novel coronavirus caused pandemic COVID 19 which affected the whole world since December 2019. As social distancing was to be observed in absence of any vaccine for COVID 19 to arrest its fast spread, lockdown was imposed in several parts of the world. Lockdown affected education system as schools, colleges and universities were closed to reduce contacts and save lives. Thus on line education became necessary to engage students to complete their curriculum or extra curricular activities. Present paper discusses factors arising out of uncertainty related to on-line education of school, college and research students with respect to learning, psychological impact and evaluation.
